Spring Has Arrived!

1.  Racism: Recognize it. Reject it!  In recognition of the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination #MarchOutRacism, we are excited to invite parents, student leaders, and community members to share their cultural heritage, language, personal experiences, and stories with our school community during the first week of April.  For more information or to volunteer please click HERE.

2.  Traffic remains an issue around our facility and this past week CAA conducted an assessment of the problem.  For a copy of the press release and the data from the assessment (over 1200 infractions in just 3 hours!) please click HERE.  You are encouraged to watch the speed limit, only park in designated zones, and remember that we have young children who can't be expected to understand the rules of the road.  We will continue to teach them that the crosswalk light has a delay, that crossing the street while walking your bike is safer, and that jaywalking is dangerous but as adults please be patient and watch for all our children when near our school.

3.  Another day off from making lunch.  Please head to www.healthyhunger.ca and either create an account or simply log into your account.  Once you are logged into Healthy Hunger you are able to order lunch and pay for it.  The lunch will be on April 16, 2019 and supplied by Wok Box.  If you normally go home for lunch, you are more than welcome to order and stay for lunch.  Please get your order in as the DEADLINE is April 11, 2019.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Lisa Kress 306-737-7080 or lisaswhite@hotmail.com.
