Good evening parents,
Our first week was very busy but great fun as well! Students discovered their new learning environment, made new friends, and participated in team building activities.
A few things to share:
School photos are this week (Thursday for Kindergarten A, Friday for everyone else).
We will participate in a Safety Blitz this week to ensure our emergency procedures are in place. We will do two fire drills and two lock down drills on Wednesday and Thursday. Children will see some police officers in the building as they will support our lock down drills.
Our first School Community Council meeting is this Thursday at 7:00 and will consist of an AGM/Election. All are invited!
Please return any forms (consent, lunchroom, etc.) as soon as possible as the information is critical to our planning.
Please note the traffic signs around the school to ensure the safety of our student body. Do not drop off children where 'No stopping' signs are posted and do not drive in to the parking lot as all spots are accounted for (school and daycare staff). The easiest place to find a parking spot is on the north side of East Green Brooks Way, right in front of the school.
