Looking Forward to Friday!

Good morning Bison families,

1.  This Friday is our Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences.  We look forward to discussing your child's strengths and goals with you!  Please arrive on time for your conference but allow a couple extra minutes following your conference to visit the office if you need assistance with signing up for newsletters (coming directly to your email), CashOnline (online payment of fees) or access to Parent Portal (unique codes are required). We also have our school jewelry in the office if you would like to come take a look!

2.  Our Winter Concert will be at Living Hope Alliance Church so to help offset the rental cost we will be charging $2 at the door.  We will also have a Silent Auction, hosted by the School Community Council.  If you have a prize to donate please call the office (306 523-3770) or contact Michele Ellingsen Ailsby (michele.ellingsen@sasktel.net).

3.  Volleyball has wrapped up and both our teams made great progress during the season!  We start thinking basketball now but Wascana Plains is in jeopardy of not having teams as we are presently without coaches.  If you, or someone you know, would be interested in leading a team (boys or girls), please contact wascanaplains@rbe.sk.ca or phone the office.  Any volunteer will require a Police Information Check, available to you for free by visiting the Regina police station.  The season runs January to March but an organizational meeting will take place in December.  Go Bisons!

4.  Good news!  Anyone who wrote letters to the City of Regina regarding concerns about traffic on Chuka have been heard.  A crosswalk will be added as soon as possible as the city agreed that traffic on Chuka is elevated.

See you Friday!
