Snow and More Snow!

Good afternoon families,

As you may have already heard, all transportation will be canceled again tomorrow (Wednesday). The school will be open. If you choose to keep your child at home please let the office know.

Good luck to all our French oratorical participants - competing this Thursday here at Wascana Plains.  A big thank you to our volunteer judges Mme Joanne Yeo and Mme Isabelle Campeau.

Basketball is in its final week of regular games and both teams have made great progress!  We thank our coaches Terry Perras, Owein Heiliger and Chris Ottenson for their expertise and time.  We will be hosting the Girls' semi-finals on Monday, March 19th (games at 4:30 and 6) if you are interested in coming to watch!

We continue to grow in population!  Last week alone we had 10 new students join our school.  We will be adding another teaching position as of Friday to support our students and teachers.  Classrooms will remain the same but you may hear of a new teacher for English or Math.  We welcome the support!

We look forward to seeing you on the 23rd for our Celebration of Learning!  Students are already starting to prepare for your visit.

Finally, another reminder about traffic and student safety.  Please drop off or pick up your child by parking on the north side of East Green Brooks Way rather than on Chuka. Construction vehicles, buses, etc., make for a very busy street.

Thanks,

Mme Revet
