Good morning Bison families,
Last night you should have received a package of forms including a letter from me, permission forms, lunchroom registration, and an emergency report. Please complete them as soon as possible as we rely on this information. Students with life-threatening conditions also received additional forms. If your child has a condition we need to know about please contact us immediately.
In June we communicated that we were moving to joint busing with the Catholic School St. Elizabeth and that our hours had changed. Please remember that we now start the day at 8:45 and end at 3:29. Supervision outside is provided as of 8:30 in the morning.
Students taking the bus (approximately 175 students) are coming home with additional information this evening. Parents are responsible for checking the parent portal for route information and are encouraged to do so often in the first weeks as with new registrations come changes to the pick-up and drop-off times.
Parking around our school is even more difficult this year with the addition of 100+ students. Please obey all no-parking signs. We do have a new crosswalk light on Chuka so dropping off children on Green Water Road and having them cross with the help of the light is recommended. Parking on the north side of Green Brooks Way is an option but the south side of Green Brooks Way is only for buses and taxis.
With the addition of many new students, our boot rooms at the end of the day are busy and full! Please arrange to meet your child on the tarmac, preferably at least 25 feet from the doors. If you need to enter the building you must use the front door as all parents and guests need to check in at the office. We need to know who is walking around the building as safety is most important. Please help us keep our school family safe at all times.
