Good afternoon families! Time is flying by and the next 6 weeks will be BUSY! Here are some school highlights:
May 23 - Final Band Concert at Balfour Collegiate - 7PM
May 24 - UBC (United Bison Council) - Student council hosts Career Day. Students are invited to dress up after asking themselves 'What would I like to be when I grow up?'
May 27 - The Star Lab is coming back to Wascana Plains!
May 31 - Dream Day for Learning Community C
June 3-7 - Wascana Plains shows its Pride with an assembly (Monday) and a Love is Love Dance (Thursday). Students are encouraged to dress up in rainbow colors on Thursday.
June 10 & 11 - Learning Community A is going bowling (Check your class' date with your classroom teacher).
June 12 - Health Fair for grades 4-8 presented by visiting SK Nursing Students.
June 13 - Learning Community B is going to the Splash Park.
June 13 - The SCC is hosting a BBQ (6:30-8:30) and Movie Night (Johnny English 3 at dusk).
June 17 - All grade 4 - 8 students will participate in our Track & Field Event at Douglas Park.
June 18 - Our final Sacred Teaching Assembly. We will welcome special guests!
June 19 - Arts Council funded Grade 4 art project will be unveiled.
June 20 - All grade K - 3 students will participate in a Play Day here on our playground.
June 24 - UBC Spirit Day - Wear a hat & sunglasses for the day.
June 25 - UBC Spirit Day - Tourist Day (What would you wear if you were leaving on a trip?).
June 25 - Grade 8 Farewell at 6 PM.
June 26 - Learning Community C is going to Evraz Park.
June 27 - UBC Spirit Day - Wear your school clothing or colors.
June 27 - Final day of classes & final assembly.
