Good afternoon families,

1. We added another teacher last week as some of our classrooms were getting big. We had roughly 40 new students join us in August but are now back to a comfortable pupil-teacher-ratio. Ms. Kaitlin Hardcastle is teaching grade 4/5.

Where Does the Time Go?

It is hard to believe but this is our last Friday with our little bisons.  Some information for you as we wrap up 2018-2019 and start planning for 2019-2020:

1.  If you expect your child to be away on Thursday (our last day) please provide a self-addressed and stamped envelope so we can mail you the progress report.  If no envelope is provided we will hang on to it until the fall.

2.  If you are not attending our school next year please let the office know asap.  Registrations impact everything from supplies to staffing to room configurations.

Good afternoon families,

Thank you for spending some time with us on Friday for our Celebration of Learning!  I trust your child was able to lead you through their environment and share some great learning experiences.

Reminder:  Please join us at 7 PM this Thursday for the ICE presentation.  The Internet Child Exploitation Unit will be here to help us help our children be safe while using the internet.  You are welcome to park in the parking lot or in front of the school for that evening.

Wishing for Warmer Weather!

Good morning Bison families,

1. This week promises to be a little warmer so we should be outside for all recesses.  Unless it is -25 with the wind chill we are outside so please ensure your children come to school with all the necessary clothing.

2. Basketball teams are up and running and games begin this week (Tuesdays for boys, Wednesdays for girls).  Our teams are also traveling to Balfour next Monday for the feeder tournament.  Best of luck to all the players and their coaches!

Concert Prep is Everywhere!

Good afternoon families,

You will have received a note regarding the concert today from your classroom teacher.  Students and teachers are busy preparing and there is candy cane fever throughout the building!  We look forward to seeing you all next Tuesday.  Anyone willing or able to direct traffic in the church parking lot are encouraged to call the office to volunteer as we expect a full house and need all staff participation inside for the show itself.
