Orange Shirt Day: Every Child Matters is a grassroots event that acknowledges the harm that Canada's residential school system had on generations of Indigenous families and their communities. Every year on September 30, Canadians are asked to wear orange as a sign of support. Wascana Plains will have Orange Shirt Day on Thursday, September 26, 2024. 

8:35 AM: Outside supervision begins

8:50 AM: Classes begin

11:45 AM- 12:45PM: Lunch/Recess

3:40 PM: End of Day dismissal

School starts September 3, 2024.

Anxiety, worry and stress are something we all feel, and sometimes we may need help. Mental health supports are available to help you if and when you need it. Listed below are some helpful resources.

HealthLine 811 - offers mental health and addictions service, including 24/7 crisis support, advice to help manage a caller’s situation, information and connection to community resources.

We are accepting registrations for Kindergarten 2024-2025, in either our French Immersion or English program.

Although our office is closed for the summer, please do send any new registrations to wascanaplains@rbe.sk.ca so we can plan for your arrival in September.
