Needing Bus Information?

Access:  https://bus.rcsd.ca/

When you enter the parent portal website (using Google Chrome), you have access to your child's route information which includes:

  • bus # and animal identification on bus
  • stop location
  • pick up and drop-off times for your child(ren).
  •  delays and notifications (subscribe to access)
  •  "Where's My Bus" which utilizes the GPS unit on the bus

We recommend that parents/guardians share access to the parent portal with their child's daycare so the daycare can also subscribe to receive notifications and utilize where's my bus?

Absences Add Up!

Did you know?

  • Being on time for school sets your child up for a great day of learning.
  • Even in Kindergarten, absences can cause children to fall behind in their learning.
  • Missing 10 percent (or about 18 days) can make it difficult to learn to read – a critical future skill.

Books & Breakfast - Please join us!

This year our theme for Education Week is A World of Learning for Every Student.  To help share our love and learning of literacy, students and parents are invited to attend a Books and Breakfast morning at our school on Thursday, October 18th from 8:00-8:30 am.  Muffins and juice will be provided while you read some stories together with your child.  Please use the Sign Up Genius l to help with providing muffins if you are able.  Books will be available to read at the school and our multilingual library, funded by Glenrose Homes, will be available for you to explore with your child.  All students who attend must be accompanied by a parent. We look forward to seeing you on the 18th!
