Hot Lunch February 13th!

Another day off from making lunch.  Please head to www.healthyhunger.ca and either create an account or simply log into your account.  Once you are logged into Healthy Hunger you are able to order lunch and pay for it.  The lunch will be on February 13, 2019 and supplied by Pizza Hut.  If you normally go home for lunch, you are more than welcome to order and stay for lunch.  Please remember you must order 5 days prior to the lunch, so by February 8, 2019.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact Lisa Kress 306-737-7080 or lisaswhite@hotmail.com.

A Most Generous Community!

Thank you to everyone who attended our concert yesterday.  Mme Madhur, Ms. Cornwall and Mme Youck were our amazing producers this year and they prepared the children very well. The show itself required the help of the entire staff so to everyone, thank you!

Another huge thank you to Rick Orban and the Living Hope Alliance Church for opening their doors to our very large family.  We are fortunate that the church administration partners with us and gives us the 'family rental rate'.  Your donations at the door last night covered all our expenses (props, audio/video staff, mic rentals) and the remaining amount, on our community's behalf, will be gifted to the church ($500) and the Food Bank ($500).

Needing Bus Information?

Access:  https://bus.rcsd.ca/

When you enter the parent portal website (using Google Chrome), you have access to your child's route information which includes:

  • bus # and animal identification on bus
  • stop location
  • pick up and drop-off times for your child(ren).
  •  delays and notifications (subscribe to access)
  •  "Where's My Bus" which utilizes the GPS unit on the bus

We recommend that parents/guardians share access to the parent portal with their child's daycare so the daycare can also subscribe to receive notifications and utilize where's my bus?

Books & Breakfast - Please join us!

This year our theme for Education Week is A World of Learning for Every Student.  To help share our love and learning of literacy, students and parents are invited to attend a Books and Breakfast morning at our school on Thursday, October 18th from 8:00-8:30 am.  Muffins and juice will be provided while you read some stories together with your child.  Please use the Sign Up Genius l to help with providing muffins if you are able.  Books will be available to read at the school and our multilingual library, funded by Glenrose Homes, will be available for you to explore with your child.  All students who attend must be accompanied by a parent. We look forward to seeing you on the 18th!
